Cooking appliances. That is the whole book.
An independent service working across Boston and the towns either side of it. Not part of the manufacturer, and it does not present itself as one — the value on offer is people who see the same four appliances every week and measure them the same way every time.
What we take on
- Cooking appliances only — ranges, wall ovens, cooktops and ventilation hoods
- Gas work measured at the manifold, with the pressure logged on every gas call
- Factory-approved parts, specified against the model and serial number
- A flat $95 service call, credited in full against an approved repair
How a call is worked
-
The model number and the symptom
The rating plate is behind the oven door on a range and under the front lip on a cooktop. That number, plus what the appliance is doing and when it started, is enough to know which parts are worth putting on the van.
-
Measured in the kitchen
Manifold pressure hot and cold, spark and flame sense on each burner, sensor resistance against a thermometer on the middle rack, blower draw at every speed. A flat $95 covers the visit and that whole diagnosis.
-
One figure before anything opens
Parts and labour quoted together, with the service call already deducted if you go ahead. If the repair is not worth doing on that appliance, you get told so plainly.
What is deliberately not claimed here.
No job counts, no first-visit success rate, no trading history and no badges. None of those can be checked from the outside, and a number nobody can verify is worth less than none at all. What is checkable is on the page: the appliances, the flat $95 service call, the areas covered, and a phone line answered 24/7.
An appliance still inside the manufacturer's own cover should go to a provider the manufacturer has appointed. Everything else is what this service is for.
Start with the model number.
Model number, what it is doing, and how the kitchen is reached. Most calls are half-diagnosed before anyone is dispatched.
